Carolyn Douglas is an Emmy award-winning broadcast news journalist and communications expert with two decades of experience in broadcast news, public speaking, and media consulting.

As a fourth generation Washingtonian and a former anchor and reporter for KING TV, Carolyn has forged powerful connections to the Northwest community. She has lived, worked and vacationed in every corner of this region, as her family has for generations. It’s no wonder promoting its people and stories is her passion.

In addition to being principal of Carolyn Douglas Communications, she is also a board member for the Alliance for International Women’s Rights, board member for Operation Military Family, media advisor for UWTV, communications consultant for Camp Korey, public speaking coach for Cimira, and public speaker for Image Source. She’s also a member of the Compassionate Action Network and a strong supporter of Edmonds Center for the Arts.
